We'll be moving there at the end of May. It's a great job for Keith (his first grown-up job), and a great town. There are tons of seasonal workers there in the summertime, and great people who are there year round. The downside is that it will still be very very cold, and we'll now be driving two hours to Fairbanks when we need to go grocery shopping or anything.
Maybe after the probationary 4-5 years I'll challenge Keith to a thumb war instead. I can win at those. He also claims that I cheat. (Shrug)

Love your book fund idea. You should bargain for several more things while you're at it. Maybe fresh flowers each week, to remind you of summer during those long winters.
Wow, good luck with the move! I stumbled on my old college papers. I wrote one, a memoir, with you in it. At least I think it's you. It's about us at a bookstore together. Do you turn to the end of books are read them first sometimes? If you do, it must be true. If not, I must have tweaked your character in my story.
